Capacious, cute and cat-like - what more could you want from a make-up bag?
I’ve got loads of make-up bags, and almost all of them came free with purchase and are wipe-clean(ish). This is the first make-up bag I’ve ever owned that is made from soft, plush like material, printed to resemble a silver tabby, and proudly boasting ears and a tail.
And guess what? It’s way more practical than I thought it would be! It’s basically a little drawstring bucket, so it can hold a lot of awkwardly shaped stuff and then open wide enough to let you see every bit of weirdness you’ve dropped in there and forgotten about.
My Drawstring Bag That Looks Like A Cat is currently holding:
- 2 x foundations (boxed) MAC Studio Radiance Face and Body in N0 and 3INA 3 in 1 in 608

Quite a lot for one small cat to swallow, I’m sure you’ll agree, but I could get more in there if I wanted to – especially if I could bring myself to throw away the boxes!
I live with two cats and had hoped that they might be as fascinated with this bag as I am, but they have both pretended that they can’t see it.
I’m using it for make-up but obviously you can use it to hold anything you like. You could fill it with rocks and use it as a terrifying and potentially toe-breaking doorstop, carry it as a handbag, or clip it to the bodice of a plain black frock if you felt like paying an homage to Balenciaga.
So much comedic versatility for between £11.99 and £15.99 on Amazon at the time of posting!
I bought mine from Amazon for £10.99 on the 14th of May but as it’s no longer available from the same seller I’m putting the link that seems the most like a bargain to me here
These little weirdo bags are also available at loads of places online if you’d prefer to swerve Amazon.

There ARE no affiliate links in this post! I intended there to be, but it’s been so long since I used my Amazon Affiliates account that I can’t remember how to sign in, and am too impatient to post this to mess about trying to make it work 🙂
This post is not sponsored or paid for, and nor was it expected or the content directed by Amazon or any of the sellers of drawstring bags that look like cats.
I wish I knew who designed the first Drawstring Bag That Looks Like A Cat as I would love to credit them, and of course, follow them, to see what other amazing and life-enriching bits of old tat they might have up their sleeve
