This is a hairpin. If you live in France, it’s a perfectly ordinary hairpin that you can pick up at any chemist or supermarket. It is not quite my favourite hairpin, as it is perfectly straight. The very best ones have a slight curve to them, as does your skull. But it is infinitely better than any hairpin currently available in London.
At the time of writing, I am unaware of any London stockist of these pins. If you stock them or you know someone who does, please tell me where I can find them. And if you’re an amazing provider of products, please consider adding them to your range. I’m currently reduced to being très, très charmante to anyone coming over on the Eurostar, or stealing them from the heads of visiting French women.
